Designed and manufactured in England Tested to WIND FORCE 11 With the 4.2m square model now wind tested to 100Kmh, this is going to be able to stay up and open far longer than any other parasol or awning on the market. Stainless steel frame combined with fire retardant Ferrari PVC fabric and designed to enable easy and low cost fitting of electrical IR heaters and lights. This has to be the ultimate smoking ban solution.The new VorTex is a venture into an area few other manufacturers dare to go - high tensile, high strength parasols. Available in 2.8m Square and 4.2m Square sizes, complete with white Ferrari PVC fabric. Other colours available to order. Frame structure manufactured from 304 stainless steel the VorTex is designed to be left up and open all year round.
Installation options
In Ground Base
For permanent fixing of the VorTex parasols. provides the best stability for the product. Electrical cables can be run through the ground throught the ground base, completely hiding them.
Deck Mount
Flat steel plate to be bolted to an existing solid surface. This provides a permanent fix in situations where it is not possible to install a ground base.
Mobile base
This option is available, however shipping large quantities of steel & concrete slabs around the UK is quite expensive, alternatively customers can purchase the in ground socket which is designed to be concreted into the ground, and construct a custom mobile base using concrete in a shuttered off cube of timber. This will house the in ground base, the design of the base can thus be constructed to match surroundings. Either painted, timber clad or converted into a flower planter with soil in the top section. We would recommend a base of 1m x 1m by at least 0.8m tall. Custom made bases would also benefit from being made with a slight ground clearance to allow for the forks of a lift or pallet truck to be able to pass under the base. Two models available. 2.8m Square and 4.2m Square. With white fabric, both models are available from good UK stocks & ready for immediate delivery
