Innovative, Unique, Fully Waterproof Upholstery. Truly taking the indoors out, Cloud is the ultimate expression of the outdoor living trend. As with all the best ideas, simplicity is the key with just two basic dimensions (75cm and 100cm) comprising the building blocks for the entire range. This simplicity allows a wide number of different units to integrate together to create almost limitless design possibilities. If you can imagine it, chances are it can be created with Cloud. From the very outset, Cloud has been conceived, designed and engineered to be left outside all year round, in all weathers without any need to cover or protect. To enable this, four design elements combine to ensure maximum weather protection. FRAME CONSTRUCTION: Frames are made from fully welded, electro-polished and brushed 304 grade stainless steel. PVC sling seat panels are fixed to the stainless steel frame using powder coated aluminium rails and provide additional comfort while allowing water to drain through. Adjacent frames are fastened together with stainless steel plates and levelled using the integral adjustable nylon feet. FABRICS: The fabrics used for seat and back cushion covers is Leisuretex - similar to a traditional PVC sling, but with the addition of 100% polypropylene yarns within the weave to offer increased comfort. Additional backing adds to the virtually waterproof nature of this material while scatter cushions are offered in a choice of nine fabrics woven from Ten Stars Yarn. This new range of 100% polypropylene textiles combines distinctive Italian style with groundbreaking technical characteristics, including excellent light-fastness, anti-mildew and easily washable. REMOVABLE COVERS: Cushion covers can be easily removed via their Velcro attachments to enable cleaning. There is no need to dis-assemble the furniture to enable removal of the covers. CUSHION CONSTRUCTION: Cushions are designed to be virtually waterproof, so no water can enter into the cushion filling itself. In the unlikely case that any water does enter, the design of the cushions - including mesh bases and well concealed Velcro seals - allows for it to drain away quickly. The interior of each back cushion is constructed from a moulded polypropylene core with polyethylene foam rim secured to a tubular stainless steel frame. Attached to this rigid core is a Dacron fibre fill enclosed inside a waterproof liner. Seat cushions are constructed using a reticulated foam core with a Dacron wrap. All seams on cushions are sealed with waterproof sealing tape to ensure no water can enter the cushions.
